Ingredients for Sardine + Avocado Toast

1 slice whole grain bread
1 canned sardine (in spring water or olive oil, drained)
¼ avocado
½ tsp hemp seeds
A small squeeze of lemon juice 

Method for Sardine + Avocado Toast

    1. Lightly toast the bread and let it cool slightly.
    2. Remove the crusts.
    3. In a small bowl, mash together the avocado, sardines, and lemon juice (if using) until well combined.
    4. Spread the mixture evenly over the toast.
    5. Sprinkle with hemp seeds.
    6. Cut the toast into strips for baby to grasp and self-feed.
