Marika Day

Dietitian and Nutritionist

Marika is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Nutritionist with over a decade of experience. Her expertise spans gastrointestinal nutrition, shaped by her own journey with coeliac disease, as well as women’s health and the intricate challenges of disordered and emotional eating. Marika’s approach to nutrition is both balanced and practical, with a strong emphasis on making simple, delicious food a priority.

As a new mum, Marika brings a fresh and personal perspective to prenatal and postnatal nutrition.

Marika is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Member of the Dietitians Association of Australia. She has a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Nutrition) and a Masters in Dietetic Studies. Marika is a brand ambassador and Dietitian at AIA Vitality.

Associate Professor Daryl Cheng

Paediatrician

Daryl is a paediatrician who lives and practices at the intersection of health, illness, and wellbeing. His passion for holistic healthcare extends to managing a wide range of acute and chronic paediatric illnesses. He has special interests in child wellbeing and development, as well as acute care paediatric problems.

Daryl’s approach is to empower and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, working alongside families and children to drive their wellbeing. He complements clinical practice with community-based workshops on preventative health and is an avid contributor to humanitarian and medical mission initiatives internationally.

A/ Prof Daryl Cheng is a consultant paediatrician and clinical informatician at The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, a consultant paediatrician at Monash Children’s Hospital, and Head of Paediatrics at Cabrini Health. He graduated from Monash University and undertook further training at John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Daryl has authored numerous papers and is featured as a health expert in news programs and podcasts.
