How to prepare formula sachets

  1. Wash your hands carefully.
  2. Thoroughly clean bottle, teat and cap until no milk residues remain. Steam sterilise as per manufacturer's instructions. Or, fully submerge under water and bring to vigorous boil, turn off heat and leave covered until needed.
  3. Boil drinking water to a vigorous boil. Allow to cool.
  4. Consult feeding table. First, pour water into the bottle.
  5. Add powder using correct number of full infant formula sachet(s) for age of infant.
  6. Cap the feeding bottle, and shake well until the powder is fully dissolved. Check temperature before feeding the baby. Feed immediately. It is safer to feed immediately after prepared.

To maintain the number of live cultures, the boiled water must be cooled down to about body temperature before adding the powder sachet.

Prepare each bottle individually. Formula left in the bottle after a feed must be discarded.

Your infant may require more or less than the prepared volume. Two formula sachets in 240mL of water may be required for some infants. Do not mix only part of sachet.

This box contains 4 formula sachets sachets only which will not provide a full day of formula feeds for your baby.

How to store formula sachets
