Ingredients for Prune Chia Porridge Fingers
½ cup quick oats
1 tsp chia seeds
5 pitted prunes, finely chopped
½ cup milk (breast, full cream cow’s milk or formula)
Method for Prune Chia Porridge Fingers

- In a small microwave-safe container (we used a 14cm x 10 cm container), combine the oats, chia seeds, prunes, and milk. Stir to mix evenly and press the mixture flat with the back of a spoon.
- Microwave on high for 3 minutes, or until firm.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then slice into strips for easy self-feeding.

You can. Freeze them in a single layer on a baking sheet to avoid them sticking together and once frozen transfer into an airtight container or freezer bag.
