Banana and Avo Smoothie FAQs
What type of bananas are best for this Banana and Avo Smoothie recipe?
Any banana of your choosing is perfect for this smoothie, however Lady Finger bananas can add an extra sweet flavour without adding honey or syrup to the mixer.
Will my little one notice the avo and spinach in the smoothie?
Your toddler shouldn’t notice a ‘veggie’ flavour in their smoothie. The avocado adds a creamy quality to the smoothie, whilst the spinach adds some extra colour. The flavours of the spinach and avo are mostly subdued by the sweetness of the banana.
What other ways can I change or sweeten this smoothie recipe?
For a slightly sweeter smoothie, honey, maple syrup or other fruits like mango can add some extra sweetness.
