An unlikely but delicious pair, avocado and banana make for a sweet and super creamy breakfast smoothie! Full of only the good stuff, this gorgeously green super healthy smoothie recipe is sweeter than its veggie-packed ingredients might imply. Have the little ones slurping down on a big cup of greens with this healthy Banana and Avocado Smoothie recipe.

Ingredients

1 frozen banana, chopped

1/2 medium ripe avocado, peeled, halved lengthways and seed removed

20g baby spinach leaves

1 serve (230mL) prepared NAN Toddler Milk Drink or full cream cow's milk

Step by step

  • Banana and Avocado Smoothie Recipe

    1. Chop banana and place into a blender.
    2. Scoop avocado flesh into the blender. Add spinach and blend until thick and smooth. Pour into tumbler with straw for serving. Add a little extra milk or water to adjust consistency if needed.

    TIP: Add a Medjool date or two for some extra sweetness.
